On the software side the Software Developement and DevOps Manager will directly manage our C#/.Net development team working on our site and you will help to support our PHP development team working on our sister product thelawsuperstore.co.uk. Although we don't expect the Software Development and DevOps Manager to code in this role, our preference is for someone who is still relatively hands on who is able to offer C#/.Net support at an application level (PHP knowledge is a bonus) and to take on a technical lead role where required to guide the team towards the best solution. On the DevOps side you will work with the Head of Technology and senior developers to manage our Azure infrastructure and our DevOps processes. You will have a key role in ensuring that we are getting the most out of Azure infrastructure and our applications are secure, high performing and cost effective. If you already manage people or teams in a management role then great but we are also excited to speak with you if you have less people management experience but you want to progress into a management role. We will support you on that journey. We are a friendly small company and as such we all wear many hats! This is a great opportunity to gain a wide variety of experience and skills whilst having a lot of influence on how we develop our software and optimise our cloud infrastructure.
