About the Role As a Port Operative, you'll be involved in a variety of operational tasks to ensure the smooth and safe movement of cargo and equipment. Your duties may include: Assisting with loading and unloading of vessels Mooring and lashing (training provided) Upskilling to Tug driving Supporting cargo handling and storage operations Working with port machinery and equipment (training provided) Securing loads and preparing cargo for movement General labouring and housekeeping duties across the port Following all health & safety procedures at all times What We're Looking For Experience in a port, warehouse, or industrial environment is beneficial but not essential Physically fit and comfortable with manual duties Must have full UK Driving licence due to location and the requirements of the role A strong focus on safety and teamwork Flexibility to work across various shifts (days, nights, and weekends as required) Willingness to complete training and develop new skills Training & Development Whether you're experienced or just starting out, full training is available.
