Velocity are urgently recruiting trainee operators for road patching machines. Once trained you will be operating the road repair machines by yourself all around the country. As the face of the company, you will need to be able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and members of the public alike. You will be trained to operate and maintain the machines as well as fix minor faults. Repairs are allocated and recorded via tablets and smart phones, so it is essential that you are competent in their use. Once qualified you will be required to work away for 2 weeks at a time, returning home for a weekend before going away again. The work is seasonal between February and November every year but you will be employed 12 months of the year. All accommodation is paid for and travel to and from sites is arranged for you. Velocity are urgently recruiting trainee operators for road patching machines. Once trained you will be operating the road repair machines by yourself all around the country. As the face of the company, you will need to be able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and members of the public alike. You will be trained to operate and maintain the machines as well as fix minor faults. Repairs are allocated and recorded via tablets and smart phones, so it is essential that you are competent in their use. Once qualified you will be required to work away for 2 weeks at a time, returning home for a weekend before going away again. The work is seasonal between February and November every year but you will be employed 12 months of the year. All accommodation is paid for and travel to and from sites is arranged for you. Wage is competitive. You must possess a valid car licence and an HGV 2 licence would be advantageous.
