Mobile Mechanic Exeter, Devon £16-18ph New van, fuel card, door to door, excellent benefits We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Mechanic/Plant Fitter to join a very busy construction firm. The role will suit applicants based in and around Exeter or the North Devon area and the role will come with a new van, fuel card, door to door and excellent benefits. This role is ideal for an experienced mechanic who is looking to have a varied day-to-day job and the successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a variety of construction equipment, ensuring that the fleet remains in optimal working condition. Duties & Responsibilities Maintenance and fitting duties on a wide range of Plant items such as hydraulic excavators, dumpers, telehandlers and dozers. Perform preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of equipment. Adhere to all health and safety requirements and guidelines and conduct safety inspections on equipment and report any hazards or concerns. Carrying out any mechanical repairs and maintenance duties as assigned Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
