Qarma is the leading digital tool and platform for quality and compliance within production and sourcing. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle; from outbound prospecting to qualifying opportunities, preparing and delivering product demos and converting leads to customers. Proactively seek new business opportunities and generate qualified leads through outbound emails, sales calls and networking. You know the upside of referrals and word-of-mouth tactics in sales. Work with your own portfolio of accounts and take full responsible of your sales pipeline to ensure your targets are met. Help educate potential clients on the value that Qarma offer by addressing, clarifying, and re-assessing customer pain points. Staying up-to-date with new features and keep self-educated on our platform and market trends Be the face of the company when visiting relevant conferences and trade shows Working with the Head of Sales to achieve and surpass monthly and quarterly quotas as well as align on go-to-market initiatives Requirements Experience with sales / customer success / account management; ideally you're coming from either an Account sales position, or outbound business development position and you're ready to step up to a closing role with enterprise level accounts. A track record of successfully working towards sales quotas and targets including sourcing and closing your own deals. Lecturer in Energy Transition - Electrical Power Systems, Engineering (ENG244RX) Job Description The School invites applications for a Lecturer in Energy Transition - Electrical Power Systems, from individuals seeking to carry out interdisciplinary, cutting-edge research at an international level. Applicants should have outstanding communication skills and a passion for curriculum development and the delivery of engaging and innovative teaching. This post will support delivery of a new joint 3+1 programme with an overseas University. The Appointee will primarily be based in Aberdeen but will be expected to travel to China and/or other overseas locations to deliver their teaching obligations; visits are likely to be up to 4 weeks duration at any one time, typically twice per year. The post holder needs to have wide expertise and be flexible enough to also deliver taught courses within the Engineering interdisciplinary curriculum at levels 1 and 2 outside the EEE area. We are particularly seeking individuals with a PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related disciplines with an excellent research track record in one or more of the following areas: Smart grids and modern power systems; HVDC, MVDC grids and DC microgrids; Electrification of energy-intensive industries; Electrical systems for renewable energy production, integration and storage. Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 7, £47,389 - £56,535 per annum and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.
