Key Responsibilities Support KS1 pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs in small nurture groups. Create a calm, structured environment to build confidence, resilience, and positive relationships. Plan and deliver targeted activities to develop emotional literacy and social skills. Work closely with the SENCO and class teachers to implement and review individual support plans. Communicate regularly with parents and carers to ensure joined-up support. Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation using consistent, nurturing strategies.
