To meet the unparalleled demand for supply and cover this academic year, we are urgently recruiting influential Teachers of Information & Communications Technology (ICT) to work in our fantastic range of schools in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire, teaching both KS3 - KS4 students (upper KS2 in middle schools). Whether it is a long-term contract or more day-to-day casual supply work, here at Academics, we focus the job search around you and therefore we look to provide you with the type of work you are looking for. This can also be either on full time or part time contracts and our supply teaching opportunities are great as they allow our teachers to be flexible with the days that they wish to work. These roles can be ideal for recently qualified teachers (ECTs and NQTs) as they could potentially lead to more long-term and permanent roles in some of our schools. For our current opportunities, ICT Teachers that apply must: Have a proven track-record of teaching ICT to students in both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Key Stage 5 would be desirable, but not essential. Have confident communication skills and will be a motivator in the classroom. Hold the relevant teaching and ICT qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) with a Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS). Have excellent lesson delivery skills and will be able to teach exciting and engaging ICT lessons using your own initiative. Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is currently registered with the Update Service or to be happy to apply for a new Enhanced DBS application through ourselves (please be aware that a cost does apply for a new application).
