You will: Lead the technical delivery of infrastructure designs from concept through to construction Develop and agree on engineering strategies and ensure these are implemented effectively Oversee and produce detailed highway and drainage designs Negotiate and secure technical approvals for adoptable works (S104, S38, S278 and related agreements) Liaise directly with local authorities, statutory bodies and clients Ensure all designs comply with current Codes of Practice, industry standards and Health & Safety legislation Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, planners and other stakeholders Mentor junior engineers and technicians where required Attend client and design team meetings, representing the business professionally You will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects and play a significant role in shaping engineering solutions.
