My client is looking to add to the consultancy side of the business with a Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer to take Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical projects from inception through to completion on a technical, commercial and financial basis. This role offers further development/training on either Geotechnical Engineering (design) or more detailed contaminated land/remediation design and risk assessments such as DQRA. As a Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer, your main duties will surround managing and delivering your own projects, keeping them in scheduled time as well as on budget. Technical duties surround; designing/organising GI's, phase 1, phase 2 interpretation, risk assessments, remedial methods, quotes/tenders and client liaison. Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer Specification: Geology or contaminated land background Ideally chartered with the relevant body Working at a Senior level within a Geo consultancy for at least 2 years. Extensive designing, organising and managing of geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigations Competent at writing phase 1 and phase 2 combined interpretive reports Experience on remedial methods and risk assessments The ability to deliver a consistently high standard of managing all practical, technical and financial aspects of projects.
