About the Role At DTC, our Embedded Engineers enjoy a varied role with a steady stream of challenging new projects to work on. You will program in C++ for embedded applications and sometimes in C for low-level Linux kernel device drivers. If you have experience in DSP or VHDL/FPGA, those skills will be put to good use, or could be developed as part of your ongoing training and professional development. Most of our Embedded Engineers enjoy getting hands-on with hardware as well, although we do have a dedicated Hardware and RF Team who take care of most of the heavy lifting.
