MBDA Missile Systems - Deliver for a more secure tomorrow An opportunity has arisen to join the Sparkworks RF Directed Energy Weapons and Low Observability (Stealth) Integration and Systems Validation Team. The role involves providing a world leading and business winning trials and testing capability to the UK MoD. You will be involved in the whole lifecycle of a multitude of differing projects, typically running for only a year or two at a time. MBDA Missile Systems - Deliver for a more secure tomorrow An opportunity has arisen to join the Sparkworks RF Directed Energy Weapons and Low Observability (Stealth) Integration and Systems Validation Team. The role involves providing a world leading and business winning trials and testing capability to the UK MoD. You will be involved in the whole lifecycle of a multitude of differing projects, typically running for only a year or two at a time. Whilst the primary focus is testing of hardware, a lot of work is involved is getting to the point of testing. Agreeing testing requirements, producing planning and safety documentation, developing & building test hardware and report writing all form part of the job as well as the trials themselves. The test phases also vary in size, from small site based screened room tests to offsite (UK and overseas) multi week deployments. Each team member also has a secondary role to do with maintaining and evolving our world leading testing capability. What were looking for Excellent communication and organisation skills. Ideally, but not essential, you will have electronic design experience. An understanding of trials processes. An understanding of trials safety management and processes. An appreciation of the verification and validation process delivering the programme in accordance with the DVP. Ability to work in a flexible manner to deal with adapting programme milestones and timescales.
