The Headteacher of this amazing primary school are looking to onboard an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team of support staff at the school. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our pupils with special educational needs receive the support they need to achieve their full potential. As a Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for the below: Roles and Responsibilities: Work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to provide support and assistance to pupils with special educational needs, both inside and outside the classroom Assist with the planning and preparation of lessons and activities, ensuring that they are tailored to the individual needs of each pupil. Monitor and record the progress of pupils with special educational needs, and report back to teaching staff and parents/guardians as required. Good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Patience, empathy and a positive attitude towards working with pupils who may have complex needs.
