The Role This role is responsible for the design, implementation, support, and ongoing improvement of IT infrastructure and associated security controls. The position combines hands-on infrastructure engineering with security responsibilities, ensuring that systems remain available, resilient, secure, and compliant with recognised standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR-aligned controls. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement and maintain core IT infrastructure. Ensure systems remain reliable, available, and performant. Support servers, networking systems, and core services. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues. Implement and maintain security controls across the IT environment. Support endpoint protection and monitoring solutions. Assist with vulnerability management and incident response. Ensure systems align with internal policies and recognised security standards.
