Academic Mentor Immediate start Excellent rates of pay Enterprise & Science Specialist School Opportunity for permanent employment and teacher training Suitable for a recent Graduate or experienced Academic Mentor An Academic Mentor is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London. This will be a full time long term Academic Mentor position, with scope to go permanent. Working hours for this Academic Mentor post will be 8am to 4pm. Responsibilities for this Academic Mentor role will include but not be limited to: Supporting SEN and LAP students in group or whole class intervention sessions Working with the teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified Attending to students' social, emotional and personal needs when required Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed The rates of pay for this Academic Mentor position will be between 85.50 to 125 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant. It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff. 90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4.
