Key Responsibilities Manage residential conveyancing matters from instruction to post-completion Handle freehold, leasehold, registered and unregistered land transactions Manage complex matters including new builds, shared ownership, lease extensions, and Help to Buy Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documentation Complete Land Registry applications and Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions Ensure compliance with AML, GDPR, and regulatory requirements Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients Proactively identify and resolve issues that may delay or complicate matters Build and maintain relationships with estate agents, brokers, and referral partners Use conveyancing case management systems to manage files and workflows Identify and implement improvements to systems and processes Mentor and support junior conveyancers and legal assistants Applicant Requirements Strong technical knowledge of residential property law Experience handling complex residential conveyancing matters Experience with registered and unregistered land Proven ability to manage transactions end-to-end Experience with Land Registry and Stamp Duty Land Tax processes Strong client care and communication skills Ability to build long-term relationships with clients and referral partners Experience using conveyancing case management systems Ability to support and guide junior team members Benefits Annual bonus scheme of up to 10 percent of salary, terms apply Healthcare package including GP access, dental, optical, and physiotherapy allowances Company pension and death in service cover Gym membership and wellbeing support Annual eye and hearing tests Birthday leave Subscriptions including streaming, music, and digital news services Free conveyancing services
