They are currently looking to recruit a Refrigeration Engineer - PPM ideally based around the South Yorkshire/Sheffield/Doncaster and surrounding regions to work on a range of refrigeration and air conditioning units and systems. The role will involve carrying out planned refrigeration maintenance across supermarket stores. Key Responsibilities: To ensure PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales and that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures. Complete reactive work to agreed timescales and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures. Identify non-repairable faults promptly advise the Line manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacements. Ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date. Requirement to participate on an out of hours standby rota - minimum of 4 x standby period annually. The ideal candidate: Experience in working with supermarket refrigeration systems. Full driving license. Experience using a PDA system. Ability to read technical drawings. Carried out PPM within a similar retail environment. Qualifications / Experience: SVQ/NVQ Level 2/3 within Refrigeration or Equivalent Qualification. City and Guilds 2079-1 FGas Category 1.
