The Role Reporting to the Commercial Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will provide commercial support across a number of residential developments, assisting with the financial and contractual management of projects from pre-construction through to completion. Key responsibilities will include: Supporting the Quantity Surveyor with the commercial management of residential projects Assisting with the preparation and management of budgets, forecasts and cost reports Assisting with subcontractor procurement and tendering Preparing and reviewing subcontractor payments Assisting with valuations, variations and final accounts Monitoring project costs and expenditure Assisting with the preparation of monthly commercial reports Supporting the management of subcontractor accounts Reviewing drawings, specifications and scope of works Working closely with site and commercial teams to ensure projects remain within budget Assisting with the commercial close-out of projects The Person The ideal person will have some previous experience within quantity surveying or commercial management, ideally gained within the residential housebuilding or construction sector.
