JOB REF: The appointed Solicitor will handle a broad spectrum of contentious commercial litigation matters, advising a diverse portfolio of blue-chip clients and managing complex domestic and cross-border disputes. The firm are considering candidates that have a minimum of 5 years' PQE. This role presents the chance to work on a broad and stimulating caseload across a range of commercial sectors, including automotive, financial services, leisure, fisheries, logistics, and FMCG. You will handle professional indemnity, construction disputes, breach of warranty claims, Section 994 claims, commercial contract disputes, insolvency, fraud, intellectual property, and international arbitration matters. You will be resourceful and technically proficient, with a strong understanding of commercial law, and the ability to deliver practical, tailored advice to clients. You should possess a team-oriented approach, along with the confidence to guide and support junior team members. A commercial mindset is essential, along with an established network of clients or referrers. You should demonstrate a proven ability to generate new business, as this role offers a potential pathway to partnership.
