About the Role The IT Manager is responsible for ensuring the organisation's technology is secure, reliable, effective and aligned with business needs. The role oversees the delivery and continuous improvement of IT services, systems, equipment and communications, working closely with colleagues and external technology partners to ensure high-quality service delivery. Job Overview Supply Chain Planner - Consumables is responsible for demand and supply planning, inventory management and material availability across Refeyn's Consumables portfolio. The role ensures materials and finished goods are available to meet production and customer demand whilst maintaining appropriate inventory levels and supporting the continued growth and development of the Consumables business. Working closely with Manufacturing, Warehouse, Quality, Sales, R&D and external manufacturing partners, the role owns Consumables planning parameters, MRP execution, purchase order management and supply planning, identifying and resolving material and capacity constraints before they impact operations. The role also provides Supply Chain support during New Product Introduction (NPI) and product transfer, working with the Senior Supplier Quality Engineer on supplier qualification and quality-related activities. This position is primarily based at our Botley (Oxford) site, with a minimum on-site requirement of four days per week. As Strategic Procurement Manager you will: - Be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing supplier relationships to optimise cost, quality and delivery performance. - Play a key role in supplier development; lead strategic sourcing and new product introduction (NPI) projects; lead supply contract negotiations and manage contract performance. - Collaborate effectively with colleagues across all business entities and with suppliers throughout the global supply base. - Lead cost-saving projects from supplier evaluation and selection through sampling, sample evaluation support, commercial negotiation, contract approval and final delivery. - Support Group procurement governance activities, including supplier assessment, onboarding, continuous improvement, audits and contract development. - Identify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal commercial terms. - Analyse market trends and supply risks to identify cost-optimisation opportunities. You will need: Membership of, or progress towards a professional qualification from, a recognised procurement body such as the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or the Institute for Supply Management is preferred. Demonstrable experience of contract management with international suppliers and a strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and international suppliers. Sound knowledge of strategic procurement practices. Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to lead negotiations and advise others to protect continuity of supply and deliver value.
