Overview This challenging position sits within BDO's market-leading Financial Modelling & Assurance Services team, providing a range of financial model related services to a large portfolio of global blue-chip corporates, banks, financial institutions and funds in relation to major infrastructure, energy and utility projects, often working with the assistance of our global network. These parties are involved in the design, build, finance and operation of multi-million and, in some cases, multi-billion pound projects, either in the private sector or under government procurement frameworks. The diverse range of projects we support range from: petrochemical plants, LNG trains, water de-salination plants, and IWPP projects in the Middle East; to wind and rail projects across the UK and Europe; to government sponsored transport projects in the Benelux region; to digital infrastructure and waste to energy projects across the UK. You'll be someone with: A finance related qualification, preferably ACA/ACCA or equivalent A track record of developing complex financial models to clients on a timely basis over the whole engagement lifecycle that are in line with the agreed specifications Good experience and a track record of leading/managing model build assignments Although not essential some prior experience of model assurance and review assignments would be helpful Good project management skills and a desire to take ownership of the work product You'll be able to be yourself; we'll recognise and value you for who you are and celebrate and reward your contributions to the business .
