Teaching Assistant Location: Nuneaton, CV10 Pay Rate: £500 per week Start Date: ASAP Contract: Long-term temp to perm. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, Are you a flexible, proactive Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact across a primary school setting? Long Term Futures is working with a welcoming and well-led primary school in Nuneaton, rated 'Good' by OFSTED, who are seeking a versatile Teaching Assistant to support across multiple year groups. This role will involve a combination of whole-class support, small group interventions, and 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs, including those with SEN such as ASD and ADHD. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Provide flexible support across different year groups as required Assist the class teacher with delivering engaging lessons and adapting activities Work with small groups to deliver targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy, and social development Offer 1:1 support for pupils with SEN, including ASD and ADHD Support pupils with focus, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and support staff to meet individual learning needs Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff Ideal Candidate Profile: Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting Confidence supporting across different year groups Experience supporting children with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, or similar needs) A calm, adaptable, and proactive approach Ability to deliver both small group interventions and 1:1 support Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting children's development A Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning qualification (or equivalent) About the School: Two-form entry primary school Part of a supportive Multi-Academy Trust OFSTED rated 'Good' Strong focus on inclusion and pupil wellbeing Forest School and outdoor learning provision Easily accessible by public transport Apply with your CV today to discuss this role in further detail.
