Your new company Hays Education are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in the Wigan and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for qualified teachers who enjoy flexibility, variety and the opportunity to make a positive impact in different school settings. We work on a partnership basis with a number of schools across the area and by being signed up with Hays you will have first access to these roles. Your new role You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment and supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 as required and will be on a short or long-term supply basis. You should be able to build relationships quickly and easily, as well as have good behaviour management skills. You will have the support from experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistants as well as a support staff network within the school. You will want to strive for academic growth for the children in your class and feel confident in tailoring materials to suit the ability and learning style of individual pupils.When working as a supply teacher, you have the flexibility to work either full time or choose the number of days you want to work, which is flexible from week to week. What you'll need to succeed Hold QTS and have recent classroom experience. Be confident, adaptable, and proactive in new settings. Build positive relationships quickly with pupils and staff.
