This role is part of a weekend night shift team, supporting production across multiple areas of the operation. This role involves printing on polymer/plastic substrates, producing high-quality, security-sensitive products with strict quality and security standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining production efficiency, delivering exceptional print quality, and ensuring compliance with our rigorous security and quality control protocols. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain a 10-colour gravure printing press. Work with polymer/plastic substrates, ensuring correct handling and printing processes. Interpret job specifications and production schedules to ensure accurate and efficient job runs. Conduct colour matching and quality checks to meet exacting standards for security print products. Monitor press performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain print quality and registration. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on the gravure press. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Adhere to stringent security protocols and confidentiality requirements inherent in security printing.
