Combustion Service Engineer Oxford & Surrounding Area £46,000 Basic Salary + Door-to-Door Travel + Overtime + Company Van Are you an experienced Combustion Service Engineer with a background in industrial steam or hot water boilers? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer of industrial steam boilers and combustion equipment who are expanding their UK Service Team. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a skilled engineer to cover the Milton Keynes & surrounding area. This is a varied field-based role where no two days are the same. You'll be working with a wide range of industrial boiler and combustion systems, providing first-class service and support to customers across your region. The Role As a Combustion Service Engineer, you will be responsible for: Servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial steam and hot water boilers Commissioning new equipment Fault finding on gas and non-gas systems Gas maintenance and gas safety inspections Boiler upgrades and modifications Carrying out site surveys Completing risk assessments Providing outstanding customer service Supporting customers with technical advice when required What We're Looking For Ideally you'll have experience working on industrial steam or hot water boilers and have a solid understanding of combustion systems and industrial multi-fuel burners. However, additional manufacturer training will be provided for the right engineer. The Role: As a Commercial Gas Engineer you will report directly to the Senior Mechanical Contracts Managers, Site Managers and will be given the responsibility for undertaking Gas Works within commercial environments in and around Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. Duties will include: Carrying out Gas installations as required by the company Carrying out servicing and pre-planned maintenance Carry out reactive call outs, attend, diagnose and repair faults Gas Leak Detection, Pressure Testing, Flue Testing, Gas Appliance Servicing, Certification, Gas Purging Services Completing all necessary documentation including Field Service Reports, Official Gas Safety Certificates as requested by the Senior Mechanical Contracts Managers Meeting all necessary deadlines.
