We're now looking for a Trainee Title Searcher to join our Titles Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in the property search industry. The successful candidate will receive structured training and support to build specialist skills in Scottish property title investigations and reporting. What you'll do Learn title searching techniques through structured training and on-the-job support. Develop the skills to review and analyse records within the Registers of Scotland ScotLIS system to identify relevant property-related matters for Legal Reports and Remortgage Searches. Support the preparation of Legal Reports and Remortgage Searches by researching property titles and ownership information through internal systems and external property databases. Review internal and external sources of Inhibition and Insolvency data to identify information that must be disclosed in reports. Assist in the preparation of additional products including Plans Reports, Company Searches, and Charges Reports. Submit orders for Plans Reports to Registers of Scotland and ensure completed reports are returned to clients accurately and efficiently. Work closely with experienced colleagues in the Titles team to build knowledge and confidence in property title investigations. Ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with company standards, security policies, and agreed service levels. Who you are Experience working in an office or administrative environment. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems. Previous customer service experience is beneficial, as is conveyancing Strong communication skills and able to work collaboratively within a team.
