Role Overview: As a Mobile HGV Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of HGVs on-site at customer locations across Luton, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire you will work independently to ensure vehicles are kept in top working condition, minimizing downtime and maximizing safety and performance. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on HGVs to ensure they meet safety standards and legal requirements. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on HGVs. Perform emergency breakdown repairs at customer sites and roadside on a 24 hour call out rota. Carry out routine servicing, MOT preparations, and vehicle inspections. Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including parts used, labour time, and service details. Ensure that company vehicles and equipment are kept in good working condition. Comply with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times. Key Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent HGV Technician qualification Minimum of 3 years' experience working with HGVs Strong diagnostic skills and a practical understanding of HGVs and associated systems.
