Description As a Lighting and AV Technician, you'll play a key role within our Technical Support team, providing essential support to the Entertainments Team in delivering both in-house and external productions. Your expertise in lighting will help bring our shows to life-adding atmosphere, emotion, and a touch of magic to every performance. With a wide variety of entertainment on offer at Butlins, you'll work across a diverse range of productions. While some shows are fully pre-programmed, we also rely on our technicans to contribute creatively to the design and execution of lighting for many live performances. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine technical skill with artistic flair in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. All of our venues are equipped with MA lighting consoles. While prior experience with MA systems is desirable, full training will be provided during your first 90 days. We're looking for creative, passionate individuals who can bring flair and originality to the role-people who are excited to contribute to the visual impact of our shows. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and troubleshoot lighting and AV systems for a variety of live performances. Liaise effectively with visiting artists and technical teams to ensure smooth show delivery Perform regular maintenance and safety checks on lighting and AV equipment Support the security and safeguarding of technical equipment and performers backstage Safely lift, carry, and position equipment and set pieces, including the loading and unloading of vehicles Ensure all shows are delivered to a consistently high standard of technical excellence Adhere strictly to all Health and Safety procedures and company policies Carry out basic stagecraft tasks as required Assist in the setup and positioning of stage scenery and props Contribute creatively to the performance by enhancing productions through lighting design and effects About Butlin's At Butlin's, we're all about fun, excitement, and adventure by the bucketload!
