In this role, you will provide high-quality, tailored tuition to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 . You will focus on building academic confidence and exam readiness in core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science . Key Information Pay Rate: £28-£30 per hour PAYE. Location: Flexible settings across Herefordshire, including school premises, students' homes, or public libraries. Hours: Flexible sessions ranging from 1 to 15 hours per week. Support: A responsible adult or carer will be present during sessions to assist with learners who have high needs. Your Responsibilities Delivering tuition sessions in line with the UK national curriculum for secondary education. Developing and implementing tailored lesson plans that cater to each student's unique learning style and academic goals. Adjusting your teaching approach to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all learners. Fostering a positive environment to build a student's self-esteem and academic confidence . Maintaining clear communication with families regarding student progress and areas for development. Requirements Experience: A proven track record of delivering Secondary Maths, English, or Science tuition. Knowledge: A strong understanding of the current UK national curriculum at the secondary level. Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to form long-term, meaningful relationships with young people.
