Role Overview: As BIM Coordinator you will: • Assisting BIM management with developing / maintaining Information Requirements, BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and checking for compliance with Project BIM standards. • Lead information management activities, project level coordination and clash management in compliance with the BEP. • Support the delivery of BIM requirements on projects and take an active involvement in the promotion, development, and delivery of BIM within the company and providing supply chain support as necessary. • Be a hands-on BIM Coordinator involved in creating, coordinating, and federating BIM models and data and taking responsibility for the management of information in the Common Data Environment to deliver BIM outcomes/deliverables. • Be updating project BIM documentation, trouble shooting, auditing the information. • Support research and development in line with the company s Digital Strategy The right person - BIM Coordinator • Experience and knowledge of the Building Information Modelling (BIM) process and standards and excellent knowledge of ISO 19650 / PAS 1192 Standards and the UK BIM Framework • Ideally previous employment as a BIM Manager, BIM Coordinator, BIM Technician, Information Manager, Design Manager, and related roles within Digital Information Management. • Ideally previous experience in construction sector projects such as Civils and Infrastructure, Commercial, Industrial, Mixed Use, Multi-room Residential, Hotels, Education or Healthcare. • Expertise in the use of Auto desk software (Rivet, AutoCAD, Navis works, Auto desk Construction Cloud) and Common Data Environments. • Educated to Degree Level in a construction related degree with a BIM / Information Management bias or equivalent qualification /experience. Entry level candidates are also invited to apply - as a minimum you will have academic training in the hands-on use of modelling software (Revit or similar) and coordination software (Navisworks Manage or similar).
