Role Summary Market Making at Marex is a critical and growing business, operating across multiple asset classes and geographies. The Market Making businesses have a high degree of complexity, operating with multiple workflows and booking systems, across different Marex entities and in different regions. The business uses several different technologies, some built in-house, others vendor driven. In this role as a Market Making Senior Software Developer, you will work closely with both business stakeholders and engineering teams to identify, design, and deliver products that strengthen our market making capabilities and improve operational efficiency across the business. Your role is critical to the future success of the Market Making business as we seek to drive technology led growth. Responsibilities Role specific Design, develop and maintain high-quality for internal and external facing applications. Build scalable, resilient and high performance services that support multiple business streams across Marex. Collaborate closely with product owners, architects and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Contribute to architectural design discussions and help shape platform standards, patterns and best practices. Ensure solutions are secure, observable and aligned with enterprise governance and regulatory requirements. Support the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and DevOps practices. Participate actively in team discussions, technical brainstorming sessions and knowledge sharing. Adapt quickly to changing priorities and evolving business demands in a fast paced environment. Provide support and troubleshooting for production systems where required, ensuring high availability and reliability.
