This involves both the collection of waste in a variety of containers including FEL's, skips, 1100 Lt bins, on pallet trucks and in drums from around the site. Operating hazardous dry waste in drum compactor, Linde/Hyster owned fork lift truck, tail lift vehicle, 34T FEL vehicle, 7.5T Curtain sider, 17T skip vehicle. Assisting with the loading and unloading of waste vehicles. Completing daily check sheets and relevant defect sheets, as applicable. Segregating and sorting waste streams in the waste yard and storage facility prior to disposal Collecting, storing and processing, as applicable, non routine waste under the instruction of the Veolia Supervisor and or Contract Manager. Assisting with waste yard duties, at the discretion of the Supervisor and or Contract Manager, within the training capability and ability of the individual. What we're looking for; Class 2 Licence An up-to-date CPC / Drivers card (Qualified for appropriate vehicle) Full UK driving licence Desirable - training will be provided Forklift truck licence In Drum Compactor Training A basic knowledge of Health and Safety Law inc.
