They specialise in district heating projects, chemical dosing systems, and water and wastewater treatment technologies. This company is committed to delivering high-quality products and services to their clients. Your new role as a Mechanical Engineer will involve designing products for the water, wastewater, and energy industries. You will create design data, including 2D drawings, calculations, BOM, equipment schedules, P&ID diagrams, control philosophies, and component specifications. Using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, you will develop designs and fabrication drawings. You will build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, ensuring effective communication throughout project delivery. Additionally, you will track and monitor information exchanges as per ISO 9001, conduct quality checks on products, develop risk assessments and method statements, liaise with the construction team, and commission equipment. What you'll need to succeed is a minimum 2:2 Honours degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related product design or engineering subject, and at least 3 years of post-graduation relevant experience in a similar role. Proficiency in 3D CAD software, including the ability to generate complex 3D CAD assemblies and drawings, and experience working with SolidWorks are essential. You should have a full current driving licence and access to a car, excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project). Flexibility and adaptability are also important, as the role will involve travel, primarily within the UK and Ireland.
