The Architectural Association (AA) School of Architecture seeks an exceptional individual as its next Head of Finance. The Head of Finance will play a critical role in maintaining the School's financial health and in enabling its future strategy and success. The AA is an independent architectural school and an international cultural institution that serves as a forum for ideas. If you enjoy balancing analytical thinking with creativity, commercial awareness and strong client relationships, you'll feel right at home. Where You'll Add Value • Manage a portfolio of Paid Media clients, taking ownership of campaign strategy, delivery and performance. • Plan, build, optimise and report on Google Ads and Meta campaigns across Search, Shopping, Display and Paid Social. • Monitor budgets, performance metrics and return on investment to maximise campaign success. • Analyse campaign data using Google Analytics 4 and platform reporting to identify opportunities for growth. • Develop testing plans covering audiences, creative, bidding strategies and landing page performance. • Present campaign performance, strategic recommendations and commercial insights to clients. • Build trusted relationships through regular communication and strategic account management. • Work closely with SEO, Content and Digital PR teams to deliver integrated digital campaigns. • Stay ahead of platform updates, industry trends and emerging Paid Media opportunities. • Contribute ideas that continually improve campaign performance and client results. About You You come from agency and someone who enjoys both the technical and commercial side of Paid Media. You love digging into campaign data, identifying opportunities for optimisation and helping clients achieve meaningful business growth. You're naturally curious, proactive and enjoy building long-term client relationships based on trust and results. You'll likely bring: • Around 2+ years' Paid Media or PPC experience within a digital marketing agency. • Strong hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns. • Experience managing Meta advertising campaigns. • Good understanding of Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. • Excellent communication and client management skills. • Commercial awareness and confidence presenting recommendations to clients. • Experience managing multiple client accounts within a fast-paced agency environment. • Microsoft Ads experience would be advantageous. • Exposure to Merchant Center, Shopping campaigns, TikTok, Pinterest or Reddit advertising would be beneficial. • A genuine passion for digital marketing and continuous learning. Why Join? We're proud to be recognised not just for the campaigns we deliver, but for the culture we've created. From award-winning work and household-name clients to structured development plans and genuine work-life balance, this is an agency where talented people stay, develop and do some of the best work of their careers. You'll also enjoy: • Agency bonus scheme. • 28 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays, increasing with service. • Private Health Insurance. • Dedicated personal training budget. • Structured career development and six-monthly progression reviews. • Flexible core working hours. • Hybrid working. • Enhanced family-friendly policies. • Friendly, collaborative and supportive team. • Regular socials and company events. • Genuine opportunities for progression within a growing independent agency.
