Talent Guardian is working with a well-established funeral company to recruit a compassionate and dedicated Funeral Service Operative to join their team in Poole. This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week) with a family-friendly working pattern of Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00. The position offers the opportunity to play a key role in providing care and support to families during difficult times, while contributing to the smooth running of funeral operations. What's on offer: Permanent full-time employment with a 37.5-hour working week Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 Significant extra earning potential through out-of-hours on-call work 28 days annual leave including Bank Holidays, increasing after three years' service Generous company pension scheme Full uniform provided and on-site parking The ideal candidate will: Have previous experience (preferred, but not essential) Be compassionate, empathetic, and understand the importance of providing a respectful and fitting tribute to the deceased and their families Be physically fit with a clean UK driving licence, capable of collecting deceased persons, bearing on funerals, and driving private ambulances and ceremonial funeral vehicles Maintain and clean the funeral vehicle fleet to an immaculate standard Work effectively as part of a team, liaising with Funeral Directors and internal stakeholders to ensure administrative tasks are completed to the highest standard Be an articulate communicator with excellent written and spoken English If you are committed, caring, and want to play an essential role in supporting families at a sensitive time, this is an excellent opportunity to join a respected and professional team.
