Responsibilities and duties of the Station Manager role: As the Station Manager you will be Responsible for the safe & effective management of the islands Relay & Power Station including staff & families. Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations & SLA's. Acting as Technical Authority for all engineering matters across Electrical, Mechanical, RF, Water & Power issues. Overseeing all legislative requirements including compliance with H&S Act 1974, COSHH, PUWER, EAWR, LOLER, Working at Height etc. Act as the client lead representative on the Island working with key stakeholders including Relay Customer, Local Government, Military Forces as part of a wider island Forum. Support with wider engineering issues such as Root Cause Analysis, Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis. Involved with the ongoing development of island staff. Responsible for budget management.
