Are you a Domestic Gas Service and Maintenance Engineer looking to work for a company that have a great culture and look after their staff. This role is working for a Bristol based Heating Company that provides Service, Maintenance and New Installations of Heating systems to both domestic and commercial properties across the south west region, as well as working with renewable energy. Due to this the company offer all employees the upskilling and training within renewables such as Air Source and Ground Source Heat Pumps. Working as part of a very successful team they are looking to recruit a domestic gas service/repair engineer, who's ambitious and want to further progress within their career. Whilst experience in renewables isn't essential, applicants ideally will be willing to upskill in this field (all training will be provided). You must have the ability to act independently, prioritise work and make intelligent but pragmatic decisions whilst having the judgment to know when to discuss and gain support from your line manager. Main Duties/Responsibilities: Complete Landlord Gas Safety inspections and gas appliance servicing as per manufactures instruction at private and social housing properties Carry out reactive maintenance on all types of boilers and heating systems. Strictly adhere to all Health & Safety procedures' all relevant industry standards (including basic risk assessments), whilst completing all work in line with manufactures recommendations and company procedures A flexible approach to working hours working overtime to when required, and being part of an out of hours call out rota compulsory) to meet customer expectations. Responsible for managing company vehicle, including its cleanliness (inside and out) and van stock levels. Experience: Qualified in domestic heating systems, fault finding and central heating controls with a proven track record and able to demonstrate a high level of customer service whilst treating customers properties with respect. Essential Qualifications and Skills: Accredited Certification Scheme including, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1 UHWSS (G3 Unvented Hot Water systems). Essential system controls, electrics, and basic heating wiring knowledge. General IT skills, the candidate will be required to complete documentation related to work activities, which may include the use of an iPad. Clean driving license. Position: Domestic Gas Install Engineer Location: Field-based within an hour and half of Royston Salary: £40-50k We're seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Install Engineer to join our client, a well-established heating services provider operating throughout Cambridge and the surrounding areas. Currently, the company is growing and entering the phase of developing its skillset across Solar, Heat Pumps, and Air Conditioning. The Domestic Gas Install Engineer will be carrying out install work with some service on domestic gas boilers and appliances in private residential properties. A minimum of five years' experience in this field is required, along with up-to-date ACS Domestic Gas qualifications. As the role involves travel across Cambridge and nearby areas, the engineer must be based within the local patch. In addition to the Domestic Gas Install Engineer skillset, it would be highly advantageous for candidates to have experience with domestic heat pumps, including servicing, breakdowns, or installations.
