Bid Manager/ Package Manager - Offshore Wind Fabrication (UK/ Europe) Exciting opportunity for a high profile global engineering company with offices in UK, EU & China. Requires Structural / Mechanical/ Civil Engineering degree. Plus Background in Offshore Wind Fabrication. Mix of Technical and Commercial for tenders, bids & delivery of projects. Company Well-established and respected company with large scale Projects for major clients. Our client has expanded into Project Management for Offshore Wind Fabrication. With long term contracts to design & sign off on fabrication of offshore wind foundations (mix of jackets, monopiles & floating) & topsides. We are currently fulfilling the role on behalf of the client. Role Mix of bid/ tender/ estimate / project management for Fabrication of Offshore Wind Foundations. Would suit any of Package Manager/ Owner's Engineer/ Engineering Manager/ Bid Manager/ Commercial Manager. Responsibility for Bids, Tender and Business Development for major offshore wind fabrication projects in Europe. Responsibilities Responsible for leading and managing prequalification's and tenders, building relationships with clients, and delivering successful bids. Understand project owner requirements. Lead technical meetings for clarifications and deviations. Essential Requirements Structural / Mechanical/ Civil Engineering degree. Experience in offshore wind engineering - any of developer, contractor, consultancy or client. Experience with offshore wind developers &/ Fabricators - client side. Commercial knowledge / Bid management experience. Offshore Wind Foundation fabrication: Any of Monopiles, Jackets, TP, Floating (or Topsides). Advantage Experience in commercial aspects of offshore wind (design, fabrication, installation) ideally Foundations. Professional qualifications/ membership/ chartered an advantage.
