Job Introduction We are currently recruiting for exciting opportunities to join Turning Point and be part of our highly successful and innovative NHS Talking Therapies (formerly known as IAPT) service. This is a FTC for 12 months. We support people in the local area who are having difficulty in coping and who may be suffering from a common mental illness such as depression, anxiety or phobias. Our approach embeds the notion of well-being and recovery and promotes personal responsibility for lifestyle choices and self-management of mental well-being. For our clients, this has resulted in a highly accessible and user-friendly service available across a wide geographical area. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner with strong leadership skills to join our senior leadership team as Deputy Clinical Lead, working alongside our step 2 Deputy Clinical Lead and deputising to the service Clinical lead. This post is open to any experienced NHS Talking Therapy clinician who has been in a senior role and are formally qualified and fully accredited via established IAPT training and professional bodies. This is a hybrid role and can involve a combination of service based and home working. Role Responsibility The role involves oversight of the Step 3 team including qualified and trainee High Intensity Therapists. You will be jointly responsible for the day-to-day operation of the service, including supervision and line management of clinical team leaders and therapists, delivery of KPIs and provision of training for staff. The role will also involve leading on specific areas for the service including development of links with external organisations as well as internal development projects. You will work closely with the clinical lead and the senior leadership team to manage clinical and operational issues, and will have line management and clinical supervision responsibilities for team leaders and other clinical staff as required, as well as shared responsibility for designated management duties such as recruitment, line management and performance management. You will have the opportunity to become involved with quality improvement projects and other initiatives that enhance the service user experience and will be responsible for providing reports and data around performance as appropriate. The Ideal Candidate As well as being an accredited High Intensity Therapist and trained supervisor, you will also have experience of developing a substantial service provision including management, service development and evaluation and providing expertise through teaching and supervising. A familiarity of a range of both Low and High Intensity Interventions is essential. You will have a track record of excellent collaborative working, staff development and good relationships with colleagues across mental health services. You will have experience of working in a senior role, providing management and supervision to staff within IAPT, and also experience of supporting service development and expansion in areas such as community partnerships, working with other healthcare providers, perinatal, and long-term health conditions amongst others. You will be familiar with IAPT requirements and have experience of using data to manage delivery of all key targets. Experience of working with long-term conditions is desirable. About the role The Operations & Partnerships Team are responsible for ensuring that our internal (Kings Camps) and external (UK and worldwide) programmes and services meet our customer and client promises through effective delivery of our people, programmes and equipment. We have a high level of responsibility and trust for the effective oversight of a large volume of children, seasonal staff, and a national venue portfolio. We're looking for a Programme & Training Lead who can take specific responsibility for our programme delivery, ensuring 500+ seasonal staff across the UK are trained, equipped and ready to start work with children. The Programme & Training Lead will be a practitioner who contributes to training content, but also responds effectively to questions from different stakeholders, responding to accidents, incidents and complaints, and who will organise and deliver in-person promotional events. This role will need someone who is ready to respond to last minute and unforeseen change and is open to a high level of UK travel. Key responsibilities Plan 1. Work with the Operations Manager to agree programme outcome requirements per season and per year 2. Schedule in-person programme delivery including people, programme content and equipment 3. Plan for the delivery of pre-camp training 4. Schedule camp support visits 5. Create training schedules and content for programme personnel Prepare 1. What you'll bring with you Extensive experience specialising in Major intermediate and minor Scrub Techniques and procedures , Key Responsibilities: Expertly perform surgical Scrub procedures, demonstrating proficiency in advanced routine and complex surgical techniques ). Deliver comprehensive and individualised perioperative care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes during orthopaedic interventions. Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary surgical teams to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operating room processes, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence. Rigorous adherence to clinical standards and protocols, actively contributing to quality assurance and safety measures within the surgical environment. Serve as a subject matter expert in Surgical procedures, providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff and enhancing overall team knowledge and skills.
