We are recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join a growing team, supporting the delivery of planned and responsive maintenance contracts within the social housing sector. This is a key role responsible for producing accurate, competitive, and commercially viable cost estimates that contribute to successful project delivery and client satisfaction. Prepare detailed cost estimates for planned maintenance works (e.g. kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, voids, cyclical decorations) and responsive repairs Interpret specifications, drawings, and schedules of rates to build accurate pricing models Conduct site visits and surveys where required to assess scope and risk Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather technical and commercial information Analyze tender documents and identify value engineering opportunities Build and maintain strong supply chain relationships to ensure competitive pricing Support bid submissions and contribute to tender strategies Monitor cost assumptions and maintain estimating databases Skills and experience for the role Proven experience as an Estimator within social housing, maintenance, or refurbishment sectors Strong knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance frameworks Experience working with Schedule of Rates (SOR), such as NHF or similar Commercial awareness with strong analytical and numerical skills Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel Excellent communication and negotiation skills Full UK driving licence (if site visits required)
