Opportunity to work overtime (if available), paid at enhanced rates The role: You will be building and testing electronic assemblies working either individually or as part of a team in an assembly cell. As part of your role you will be hand soldering components, carrying out visual inspection using magnifying devices and microscopes and assembling small components using jigs, fixtures, hand and power tools to fix screws and rivets in place. Other duties will include: Operating robots and other automated assembly machines and test equipment. Potting, sealing and encapsulating with resins. Wiring crimping contacts to wires. Welding and bonding plastic components. Packing. About you: Previousexperience of electronic assembly work is not required as we provide full, ongoing training via our training academy. You will need to have good eyesight and manual dexterity along with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work is essential as is a flexible attitude and a willingness to participate in manufacturing improvement activities and exercises.
