We are seeking a hands on Electronics Technician to support the build, test and fault finding of advanced low volume vehicles. Working within a fast paced prototype and development environment, you will be involved in electronics assembly, diagnostics, soldering, and wiring loom creation and repair. The Electronics Technician will: Assemble electronic sub systems to engineering drawings, schematics and CAD based assembly documentation. Carry out precision soldering at PCB and loom level in line with IPC standards. Build, modify and repair LV and HV wiring looms for prototype vehicle development. Perform diagnostics and fault finding using multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators and power supplies. Support vehicle integration activities, including electrical installation, routing and connector setting in. Assist with root cause analysis and resolution of electrical and electronics issues. The Electronics Technician will have: A minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (IMI or City & Guilds Level 4 advantageous) Hands on experience in electronics assembly, diagnostics and repair within automotive, motorsport, aerospace or similar environments. Proven experience with precision soldering (PCB and loom level) to IPC standards. Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and CAD models for build navigation. Experience working with LV and HV looms, soldering, diagnostics and in vehicle electrical fault finding. Proficiency with MS Office and industry standard diagnostic software.
