Job Introduction Working for us as our Driver/Branch Assistant you will be out and about much of the day delivering and collecting our equipment from customers in a 7.5t vehicle. As part of this service you will be expected to demonstrate how to use it if needed. Once you're done you'll will head back to base to join the team in the branch. We have an exciting opportunity for a customer focused and mechanically minded candidate to join Jewson, Perth - Arran Road as a Tool Hire Driver Fitter . This role is a full time, permanent position in which the successful candidate will have a 3.5 t Licence. This is a varied role dealing with branch stock and location, solving problems and managing stock and allocations for the customers' requirements. What will I be doing? Our Driver/Fitters are essential within the branch network, you will build relationships within our cluster and understand their wider requirements in order to maximise sales growth. You will be in regular contact with our Branches and therefore you play a huge part in delivering a fantastic Overall customer experience by sourcing and locating required tools for hire. In order to support our customers and deliver a great service you will; Driving 7.5t, you will collect and deliver tools across the cluster for our tool hire departments. You will be instrumental in the streamlined uninterrupted hire service. Get to know our product lines and services to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson Values Working with the team to ensure that great relationships are developed with new and existing customers, understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible Use our in-house systems to process and locate tools for hire, organise tool hire collection and delivery Collaborate with the wider network to support customer requirements and business activities Get to know the local market to support plans for sales growth You may be occasionally required to carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of our tool hire equipment in the workshop Key Requirements 3.5 tonne licence Full Clean Driving Licence Background with knowledge of or an interest in tools / engineering About Us This role is working with Jewson part of the STARK Group.
