About The Role In our FTI EMEA Financial Services practice, we support clients at times of crisis and transformation. We determine the direction of the company at critical moments, for example when they need to tackle high stakes risk, performance issues, restructuring challenges and growth opportunities. The Senior Director will be part of the FTI Corporate Finance EMEA Financial Services practice, and we are looking for talent across London, Paris, Amsterdam and Frankfurt/Munich. The Senior Director will manage the execution of client projects, working closely with clients and FTI Consulting teams. What You'll Do You will support clients facing crisis and transformation situations, including but not limited to the following areas: Business transformation and efficiency, including large scale transformations, cost efficiency, target operating model, etc. Balance sheet and restructuring, including capital/liquidity/funding, portfolio & entity level restructurings. Risk and regulation, including at the intersection of transformation, financial crime, financial risks, geopolitical risks, etc. Data, technology and AI transformation. Transaction advisory, including due diligence and value creation at both entity and portfolio level. Event driven crises impacting the financial services ecosystem, such as fraud, cyber incidents, hostile takeovers or regulatory intervention to name a few. Your client base will include banks and their supervisors but also asset managers/owners, private markets, payments, fintech, sovereign wealth / development funds. What You Will Need to Succeed Excellent problem solving capabilities and analytical skills. Ability and willingness to develop new client relationships, to support new business opportunities and be a self starter. Strong verbal and written communication skills (presentation, memo, etc.). Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team with a collaborative approach and outstanding listening skills. Ability and curiosity to learn and adapt in an ever changing environment to meet client needs. This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices both nationally and internationally. Basic Qualifications Master's degree in business or engineering (or an equivalent university degree in finance). Significant experience as an Engagement Manager or Project Leader or Senior Manager at a major consulting firm serving financial services clients, experience at a financial services institution an advantage. Preferred Qualifications Proven experience leading consulting teams on complex engagements for financial services clients, including managing timelines, coaching junior team members, coordinating internal experts, ensuring quality of analysis and deliverables, developing trusted client relationships.
