Pretty Doesn't Pay the Bills. Conversion Does. Most designers can make something look good. That's table stakes. What we need is someone who looks at a piece of raw footage and immediately knows which three seconds will stop the scroll. Someone who instinctively knows where the eye should go, what the headline should say, and why a viewer should care. We're The Travel Franchise - the UK's leading travel franchise, voted Best Lifestyle Franchise in the World two years running. We help ambitious people leave jobs they've outgrown and build flexible travel businesses from home. We generate thousands of enquiries every month, and right now we have a substantial pipeline of creative assets that need to exist. We need them built fast, built well, and built to sell. If you understand that creative exists to drive revenue, not win design awards, and you have the capacity to commit to high-output commercial creative, keep reading. The Role at a Glance Senior Digital Designer & Video Content Editor Bournemouth, Dorset Hybrid Working Competitive Salary DOE + Excellent Benefits Full Time Permanent Reporting to: Creative Leadership Team Culture: Freedom & Responsibility Context Not Control Results Not Clock Watching Your Background / Skills: Video Editing, Graphic Design, Commercial Creative, Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, Social Content, AI Tools, Direct Response Marketing A Great Engagement Looks Like This This is a sprint, not a long-term post. But the work you do will have a direct commercial impact from day one. You'll have nailed it if you move the needle on these three things: • Asset pipeline cleared A substantial backlog of video and graphic assets is produced, publish-ready and performing. Not drafts. Not nearly-theres. Live, tested, working creatively. • Engagement and click-through The assets you've produced are measurably outperforming what we were running before. Scroll-stopping hooks, clear calls to action, content that earns attention and converts it. • Volume without compromise You've demonstrated that high output and high quality aren't mutually exclusive. One core idea has become ten usable assets. Raw footage has become a campaign. This Role You'll take a brief - or sometimes just a folder of raw files - and return with a polished suite of assets ready to publish. No lengthy back-and-forth. No hand-holding through every decision. You know what good looks like commercially, and you build to that standard by default. You're not waiting to be told which soundbite to use. You already know. You're not asking which part of the graphic should draw the eye. You've already solved it. This is high-autonomy, high-output work. You reduce bottlenecks. You don't create them. What You'll Do • Edit raw footage into fast-paced, punchy assets for Meta, TikTok and YouTube. Turn one 45-minute recording into 10+ usable commercial assets. • Create scroll-stopping social graphics and high-converting ad creative with clear messaging, strong visual hierarchy and compelling calls to action. • Design high-value PDF guides, sales collateral and supporting marketing assets where the commercial value is obvious before the reader reaches the end of the first page. Here's Where We See You Need Experience to Really Own This Role • Message-first thinking You understand what makes people act. You can identify the angle, write compelling headlines and build strong hooks without waiting for someone else to tell you how. • Design for conversion You understand visual hierarchy. You naturally guide the eye and create professional, high-value assets that drive action. • Video editing at pace You transform interviews and raw footage into dynamic commercial assets, instinctively knowing which moments sell an opportunity and which lose attention in the first three seconds. • AI fluency You use generative AI as a genuine accelerant. Testing hooks. Creating variations. Increasing output. Not as a novelty, but as part of how you work every day. • Speed and volume You've already proven you can produce a significant volume of high-quality commercial assets within demanding timescales, and you have the portfolio to demonstrate it. This Role Is Not for You If • You need detailed, step-by-step briefs before you can start. • You prioritise brand aesthetics over commercial clarity. • You're currently stretched across too many projects to genuinely commit. • You design to impress other designers rather than drive action from real people. The Rewards for You You'll be working on commercially critical creative for one of the UK's most awarded travel franchise businesses. This is the kind of role that builds a portfolio. Real campaigns. Measurable results. Genuine creative freedom within a clear commercial brief. Alongside that, you'll enjoy: • Competitive salary • Hybrid working. • Private medical insurance. • Company pension. • Dedicated professional development budget. • Generous holiday entitlement. • Genuine travel opportunities. • A Netflix-inspired Freedom & Responsibility culture built around context rather than control, and results rather than clock-watching. If that excites you rather than unsettles you, you'll thrive here. Who Are We? We're The Travel Franchise - a multi-award-winning travel franchise business, voted Best Lifestyle Franchise in the World two years in a row. Based in Bournemouth, we help home-based travel consultants build thriving businesses while creating genuinely memorable experiences for their customers. We move fast. We back talented people.
