What You Will Do: • Identify and analyse business needs, conducting requirements gathering to define scope and objectives for SAP ERP applications integrated with business processes and IT infrastructure. • Make recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through SAP modules. • Research business requirements, develop detailed specifications, and validate SAP solutions with business stakeholders. • Translate business requirements into SAP module requirements and communicate them effectively to the SAP development team. • Create end-to-end test scenarios based on business processes for SAP S/4HANA Transport Management System (TM) and execute User Acceptance Testing. • Manage projects and processes independently, coaching and reviewing the work of junior professionals while solving complex problems. What You Will Bring: • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Transport Management System, particularly with inbound order-based planning and integration with MM/EWM modules. • Proven ability to perform detailed business process mapping and identify improvement opportunities supported by data. • Experience in the logistics sector, with a preference for freight sector expertise, and an understanding of supply chains and material flow principles. • Proficiency in data exploration and visualisation tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI, along with strong skills across the Office 365 technology stack. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Operations Business Analyst - Fashion Retail Operations Business Analyst - Fashion Retail The location of the role is Paddington, London (hybrid working) . The duration of the contract is 6 months . The pay rate on offer is 350 - 400 per day (via Umbrella agency - inside IR35) . The client is a multinational high-street retailer. Role Summary An outcome driven business analyst, delivering end to end process stability across product set up and PO management, inbound compliance, and query/SRNI resolution. Provide structure, controls, and cross functional alignment. Core Deliverables RACI clarity, SLA definition, control gate design, backlog reduction, process mapping, capability uplift, and cross functional governance. Key accountabilities of the role Inbound compliance: Align Ops, Supply Chain, Buying & Merchandising on roles, responsibilities and escalation paths Support Operations Executive PO and pricing validation controls: Identify whether discrepancies are system driven, training driven, or discipline driven. Recommend and implement improved validation controls to prevent SRNI issues. Data integrity controls: Diagnose root causes of recurring data issues (barcodes, manufacturer codes, pricing). Assess capability gaps in Buying teams and offshore teams. Define "what good looks like" for product set up post integration End-to-endBuyability and availability oversight Map e2e process and establish a cross functional view of buyability blockers and systemic failure points Set up weekly triage; define and embed ownership at each stage of process Query log reduction and process stabilisation: Diagnose why query lines remain high and where bottlenecks sit Work with Buying & Merchandising and Ops to clear backlog Recommend process or automation changes to prevent re-accumulation SRNI process strengthening for transition: Ensure Buying & Merchandising team is fully equipped to manage SRNI (Stock Received Not Invoiced) during and after transition Define transition process Identify and close gaps in data, process or capability Cross-functional integration & change delivery - drive structured problem-solving and ensure actions are delivered Key skills and experience Strong preference for Retail or Ecommerce industry experience Comfortable operating across functions and driving change Understanding of retail product lifecycle (e.g. product setup, PO creation, inbound logistics etc.) Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to map end-to-end processes Self-starter. Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively Excellent collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills Operational pragmatism and hands-on delivery when required Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly comfortable using Microsoft Excel Experience using Netsuite or RITHUM CommerceHub is a plus not essential
