Working within a significant team of BAs and Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Architecture, the Business Analyst / Data Analyst will be responsible for defining, analysing, documenting and interpreting business requirements, market evaluation, selection, configuration, training, testing, implementation, change management, and post-implementation road-mapping and review across the projects that they are assigned to. Systems currently being improved within the Law Firm include practice management, time management and document management and may include work on the InTapp, Elite 3E, iManage systems and/or Sharepoint, Dynamics CRM or other business systems relating to legal practice or the core business operations. Whilst experience from within Law Firms is certainly desirable, it is non-essential. Your BA work will centre around the data held within these systems and as such experience of Data Mapping, Data Analysis and SQL would be highly desirable. We are searching for a Business Analyst who has experience either working as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst whilst maintaining their responsibilities within the full life cycle of business analysis from requirements gathering, analysis, creation of functional specifications, data maps and process flows and finally into implementation via UAT. Ideally you will have been working within a Law Firm, Legal Services environment (experience gained within Professional Services environments can also be considered) where you will have engaged with various stakeholders in both business and technical teams. Any data analysis skills including use of SQL, MS Excel etc would be very useful although core data mapping experience from a BA perspective would be adequate. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are pre-requisite. This is a contract opportunity, Inside IR35, with strong likelihood of ongoing engagement and extension within a stable, global Law Firm environment.
