The Principal Product Manager for Models and AI-capabilities is a key leadership role within the EGA Product team. This team is responsible for defining and driving the strategic vision, roadmap, and implementation of the Machine Learning and AI capabilities that power our entire advertising business. Your objective will be to enable our advertising platform to become more intelligent, automated, and effective, ensuring our AI-driven solutions are robust, scalable, and directly aligned with the commercial needs of our partners and EG's strategic innovation goals. In this role, you will: Define and drive the strategic product roadmap for advertising AI/ML, including models for bidding, targeting, relevance, and creative optimization, across a complex, multi-workstream environment Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering leaders to enhance our technical foundations, ensuring scalable and efficient model development, deployment, and operation Lead responsible AI/ML practices for advertising, including model fairness, evaluation, monitoring, and retraining to ensure ethical and effective outcomes Own the business impact of our AI/ML models, making data-driven decisions on model development priorities, including build vs. buy analyses Continuously monitor model and product performance against business KPIs (e.g., ROAS, CPC, partner adoption) and make recommendations to pivot, scale, or sunset initiatives Provide deep market and advertiser insights to guide the development of AI-powered features and capabilities across the product portfolio Ensure that backend AI/ML capabilities are seamlessly integrated into advertiser-facing tools and reporting to create a cohesive and intelligent user experience Resolve cross-functional escalations and ensure alignment on AI/ML strategy with the broader product vision for EG Advertising Build clear requirements and testable hypotheses in ambiguous scenarios, negotiating priorities and dependencies across multiple teams Communicate external AdTech and AI trends and their implications for our advertising product strategy across the organization Experience and Qualifications: You have 10+ years of product management experience, including leading complex technical products in an AdTech or e-commerce environment You have a proven track record of owning the end-to-end product lifecycle (strategy, roadmap, execution, launch, iteration) and working with cross-functional teams (data science, engineering, research, design, commercial) You have strong domain expertise in AI/ML fundamentals and their practical application to business problems You have strong domain expertise in digital advertising (AdTech), with knowledge of sponsored listings, programmatic advertising, auction dynamics, and performance metrics (CPC, CPA, ROAS) You have knowledge of Generative AI (LLMs, embeddings, RAG) and its potential applications in advertising, as well as experience with ML platforms and workflows (e.g., feature stores, model registries, training pipelines) You have deep expertise in competitive landscape analysis, AI/ML trends in AdTech, and data-driven product strategy You have experience working closely with ML engineers and data scientists to define technical requirements and evaluate feasibility, with the ability to define and drive an AI/ML strategy aligned with business objectives You have strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to align and influence leaders and stakeholders across departments and organizational levels You have strong storytelling skills-and can articulate the value and complexity of ML/GenAI initiatives clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences You are effective at coaching other Product Managers and have a history of driving innovation and contributing to business strategy through product leadership Accommodation requests If you need assistance with any part of the application or recruiting process due to a disability, or other physical or mental health conditions, please reach out to our Recruiting Accommodations Team through the Accommodation Request .
