HGV & Plant Operator Driver Catterick, North YorkshirePermanentUp to £50k + Flexible Benefits Freedom's Network Services team have a fantastic opportunity for an HGV & Plant Operator Driver to join our Operations team based in Catterick, North Yorkshire. This is a hands-on role supporting our Overhead Lines team by delivering essential plant and equipment to site and assisting with installation on the network. We're looking for someone with experience in the sector and HIAB certification, who takes pride in safe, efficient, and reliable delivery and plant operation. Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: Driving HGV vehicles to transport materials, plant, and equipment to sites across North Yorkshire. Operating lorry-mounted cranes (HIAB) and plant machinery on site. Loading and unloading vehicles using fitted cranes and forklift trucks. Supporting Overhead Linesmen with the erection of plant onto the network. Managing lifting, carrying, and accessing vehicle beds safely. Maintaining a proactive and results-driven approach to daily tasks. Ensuring all deliveries and operations are completed in line with safety and operational standards. What we're looking for: We're looking for a dependable and skilled driver/operator with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety. Ideally, you'll have: Valid HGV licence. HIAB certification (essential). Previous experience in overhead line or utility sector (preferred). Experience operating plant machinery. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. HGV Relief Driver - Aylesbury

Location: Aylesbury Contract Type: Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours week. Salary: £20.00 p/h (Salary Equivalent £46,800, Overtime paid at time and a half) PERSONAL FUEL PAID TO SITE Working predominantly within one of our six regions, you will be utilised to cover any vacancies, holiday, training, etc. of our branch lorry loader and tanker drivers. This is a varied role that may require infrequent nights away and travel, depending on appointment. LORRY LOADING OR HIAB EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ALLMI D1+E OR CPCS REQUIRED Purpose As a HGV Relief Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our fleet maintains full utilisation, transporting our modular structures, and temporary storage & accommodation units on one of our fleet of over 70 lorry loader cranes. You will also be required to work within our Tanker team servicing our customer's welfare requirements. Previous tanker / waste management experience, desired, but not essential, as training will be provided. CPCS and/or ALLMI lorry loader operator qualification.
