A highly reputable firm is seeking an experienced Costs Draftsman or Costs Lawyer to join its specialist costs team. Preferred Requirements: Prepare Bills of Costs for detailed assessment and manage Precedent H costs budgets. Draft Precedent F bills in budgeted matters and handle Precedent T revisions and Precedent R approvals. Advise fee earners on costs strategy and recovery, and support negotiations and settlement of costs. Demonstrate a strong background in inter partes claimant work, particularly in serious injury and/or clinical negligence. Possess solid knowledge of Precedents H, F, T, and R, and the ability to manage files independently and handle complex matters. Preferred Qualifications: Experienced Costs Draftsman or qualified Costs Lawyer. Strong technical ability and commercial awareness. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
