As a Senior Qualified Residential Conveyancing Lawyer, you will provide an expert legal service across a broad range of residential property transactions, with particular focus on complex work including deeds of grant, covenants, easements, assignments, declarations of trust, the creation of residential leases, equity release transactions, and matters arising under the Building Safety Act. This is what you will be doing As a Residential Property Lawyer, your day to day duties will include:- Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion, ensuring matters progress efficiently and accurately. Completing thorough due diligence at each stage of the transaction, identifying and advising on risk. Handling complex technical matters including deeds of grant, covenants, easements, assignments, declarations of trust, and the creation of residential leases. Advising on a range of residential schemes and transaction types including new build, Help to Buy, Right to Buy, shared ownership, lease extensions and deeds of variation. Supporting business development activity and mentoring junior team members to help grow the wider conveyancing offering. The experience you will bring to the team You will bring the following experience to the Residential Property team:- 5+ years PQE (or equivalent) managing complex residential conveyancing matters with confidence. Strong working knowledge across sales, purchases, remortgages, new build, and leasehold matters (including lease extensions and deeds of variation). Practical experience dealing with complex title issues such as covenants, easements, deeds of grant, assignments and declarations of trust. Exposure to equity release transactions and/or an understanding of issues arising under the Building Safety Act.
